Mentor coaching service
What would your future self want you to know today?
The way to be good at something is to repeat it until you get it right. The way to be the BEST at something is to repeat it with a MENTOR until you get it right in the best way.
In the coaching profession, the power of coaching is not revealed in the session without the formation of the coach’s performance maturity. This is why every coach needs the mentoring power of a mentor in their professional career development. The coach who succeeds in revealing his/ her own potential becomes the leader of the coaching process. For the coach who is the best in his ability to manage the coaching process with maturity, the credential he will receive is now an award.
In mentor coaching service, the responsibility is two-sided. While the mentor takes the responsibility of mentoring, the mentee takes responsibility for his/ her own performance improvement. The relationship between the mentor and the mentee, is to ensure that the mentor, who has superior knowledge and skill in coaching knowledge and skills, enables the mentee to reach the best version of himself by sharing his own experiences throughout the whole process.
The 10-hour mentor coaching service, which is required by the international coaching federation ICF, is the service of mentee’s preparation by a mentor coach in accordance with the qualification criteria of ICF coaching competency. Here, the criteria are known for which credential the coach candidate is on the journey, and a mentor coaching session program is created. Associate Certified Coach ACC, Professional Certified Coach PCC, Master Certified Coach MCC, each has different success performance criteria, qualification criteria, and certification processes.

Only coaches with the credential of Professional Certified Coach PCC and Master Certified Coach MCC can provide a mentor coaching service. Mentor coaching service is mandatory required by the ICF in each credentialing. When the ICF competency is achieved according to the performance success evaluation criteria, individuals become able to apply for credentials.

I am taking a new course, but where should I go?
Listening to the inner call that sheds light on the point where you close yourself with the state of unsurety of what you are doing, uneasy attitudes, fears, anxieties that cause the uncertainty and foggy state of the transition to the new, the information hidden in the mind cabinet… You who are called to a new direction and a new path… You who see your destination…
In Mentor coaching service, the Mentor knows which credential you can go for with your existing potential, the training you have received, your documents, and your total hours of session experience. He/ she knows your areas that are open for development for the relevant credential or the areas that need support with additional training.
The path to be determined for where you will take new direction is up to you. The mentor enables you to find your needs and helps you improve in each mentor coaching session. Whether you will be an ACC, a PCC, or how you will go about becoming an MCC, he will clarify the whole process with you. However, the credential of the mentee is entirely his own responsibility.
The framework and preparation process of the program is now clear to both parties. The relationship agreement between mentor-coach and mentee (coach) has been made. Pricing, payment process and time plan are determined from the very beginning.
The existence and ethical rules of the ICF ethics committee in mentor coaching service should be fully notified to the mentee. The mentee is supported to evaluate and discuss other options to receive mentor coaching service.
At this point, it is very important to know the main points intended for improving coaching skills. In a coaching process, the most important thing in the session that the coach serves is his own mental preparation. He should be able to let go of his self so that he can become an inner voice; he should silence his mind so that he can listen to the client without interpreting, judging, and directing. Then, they should be able to frame the session process and ensure harmony with the client.
In this harmony where integrity and confidentiality will be established, it is necessary to start the coaching agreement with the client in a healthy way, to explain coaching, and give information about the session process. After the preparation phase, which provides empathic listening competence, he will be able to attain a good state of deep listening.
It is important to develop the ability to use coaching tools in the ability to clarify, support, build trust, get clients to realize with strong and right questions and create space deep into one’s own advancement. Because it is one of the main points of coaching that our clients can clarify their current situation and set goals that will enable them to achieve reality and life satisfaction in their issues.
After this journey of discovery, knowledge and skills of being able to center around the client taking responsibility, the coach’s ability to listen, make an analogy or a metaphor, having a grasp of what is happening in the client’s inner journey, managing his own emotions and mind in situations similar to the client’s story, understanding the belief patterns in goal planning, using his intuition, having the client perform visualization about the point he wants to reach must be powerful.
The coach, who can make the client find his motivational parts, internal and external sabotaged aspects, real values, strengths, and weaknesses, easily provides the change we call the “A HA!” moment that the client will experience in the coaching session. From this point on, while the coaching session continues forward with providing decision making, it is again in the coach’s area of competence to provide balance and build a commitment to the decision of action decision, action steps, and goal.
Evaluation, future adaptation, and reality of the entire coaching session process is integrated with commitments and requests. Through the investigation and research provided by coaching tools, it is a necessary process management for the client to be able to find ways to use all his resources effectively, to be able to find ways to use all his resources effectively, to enable the client to overcome unexpected situations and possible obstacles as well as analyzing his options.
The last stage is the follow-up process that starts after the coaching session and the clarification of meetings. In its shortest form, the main purpose of the Mentor coaching service is for a coach to achieve the best performance in the coaching process.

However, another issue that the coaches experience frequently is the lack of resources in reaching the session experience hours and the insecurity they experience in the pricing of the coaching sessions. As a mentor coach, we work on all the issues the coaches experience and can experience, with all the process experiences I have had.
What I do by encouraging them, helping them discover the resources they can get support from, making them realize what they can do and discover what they have learned, enabling them design steps enhance their sessions, encouraging them to overcome their personal thresholds, fears, and relationship with money by using SELF-COACHING methods is the belief that the way to be the best is through implementation, constant practice and, most importantly, strengthening the mentee’s belief in the coaching profession.
The strongest performances and the strongest potentials are directly proportionate to people’s belief in themselves and what they do. A strong belief and mindset ensure a successful outcome for any situation.
In the mentor coaching service, the performance level of the mentee’s coaching sessions is examined, and oral and written feedback is provided. What is intended here is to successfully establish the maturity of coaching performance that I mentioned at the beginning as well as reaching the credential competency.
With mentor coaching service, which is a learning and development process for professionalization in the coaching profession, each mentee can easily create his own unique style by knowing exactly what he is doing and what he will do and what he wants. The mentor coach listens to the mentee in every aspect, analyzes the mentee without judgment, accepts the person as they are, as in the coaching philosophy, observes the mentee’s development process with his mastery of the ICF assessment tools and the credentialing process, sees and expresses the areas that need to be brought to completion.
The mentor manages the program model of the service he provides in the coaching service, depending on the areas of need. He motivates the mentee to go beyond the limitations he has set out. He supports and appreciates his progress and achievements. The last step of this 10-session service will be waiting for the result after participating in the evaluation criteria for an ICF-certified credential.
Now I am asking you, to be waiting for the result or to be waiting for the process?
How about sharing your answer with me?
