Solidarity in Disguise!
Coach Supervising
Coach supervising, which is a professional gift for becoming the best choice in the coaching profession, is of great significance. Supervision Coaching is a special study that offers solutions to a range of needs.
The main information about the coaching profession is reserved in the session experience. We take advantage of our coaching sessions so that we can influentially experience to the fullest, and ensure that others do the same as well. By realizing the power of knowledge in session experiences, competent coaches become more active while using their knowledge, skills, and coaching tools in clients with similar experiences. Therefore, achievements in the coaching profession are made possible by experiences of successful sessions that improve after training processes.
Being a coach who can wisely use coaching knowledge in their sessions also means having the recollections of session experiences. Experienced coaches who have been in the profession for a long time have enough coaching knowledge; but with the arrival of modern times, along with the addition of a great deal of new information, a lot of information has been forgotten.
Candidate Coaches who complete their coaching training with modern knowledge also need to use the knowledge they have acquired in their sessions, along with practice areas and observation of their sessions by experienced coaches.
Supervision Coaching
The main purpose of supervision is the oversight of someone else’s practices by a practitioner experienced in his or her field, through the eyes of a teacher and a professional. Supervision coaching, which is a combination of coaching and supervision, has opened a sectoral area in the coaching profession.
Coach Supervising training is offered to professional coaches with the required qualification as an elective course in the ICF accredited coach training program (ACTP) and continuing professional development (CPD). It is also seen as an important competency area of development by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) in terms of learning, improving, and applying the supervision skills effectively along with contributing to the coaching profession.
With the Coach Supervisors authorized after this training program who contribute to the future of the coaching profession, the reference support needed for the grading of the coaching of coaches who will work as coaches in institutions or who are currently working is also provided.
The effectiveness of coaching programs created in institutions as well as the benefit the measurability of the success provides to the continuity of the work of my colleagues giving coaching services to businesses is of great value as well.
As I mentioned in my interview published in the Turkish National Newspaper recently, I believe in the principle of continuous development in the coaching profession and share all my knowledge and skills with you to reach the new versions of people. I believe that, as the only program provider and mentor trainer in the world who provides ICF accredited, CPD approved Coach Supervision training.
Strong Observers Will Contribute to Coaches Conducting Strong Sessions!
In order to become a supervisor coach, you must have 125 hours of training and 100 hours of session experience. It is very valuable for a candidate coach to initially complete Basic Coaching Knowledge and Skills and Certified Coach training, learn Transactional Analysis at great length, and strengthen the coaching training program with gestalt theory.
In the next stage of Coach supervising training, he/ she must learn supervision approaches and supervision models in detail. At this point, the Coach learns about social and cognitive theory, supervision and self-sufficiency of the coach, different perspectives in coaching practices, what the supervision therapeutic alliance is, supervisory roles and styles, forms of evaluations as well as the professional advantages all these provide.
Through raising the level of awareness and competence of the coach, the value, success, and quality of the coaching service are intended to be maximized.
The coaching profession is like a tree that bears fruit. It’s like the tree’s strong roots, resistant trunk, its branches growing intertwined, and its leaves that are refreshed in all seasons, as it blooms in spring and then gives fruit.
It is complete with its coaches and clients who rest in the shade of this tree with the weariness of their path and then continue to move forward after gaining strength. Our tree, which continues to exist and grow with us, and our progress through cooperation and collaboration in many ways are examples of solidarity in disguise.
With ICF, Credentialed Coaches, Trainers, Mentors, Consulting institutions, and individuals, we are essentially integral parts of the whole.
The Supervisor Coach, who understands the anxieties of the new coach candidate, the stress caused by the challenges, the fear of failure, and all other similar emotions, appreciates their successful practices, gives all the support they need, develops their skills, and determines their needs for further development; as they share their experiences with confidence and approach in a constructive, supportive and educative way, they contribute highly motivated and successful coaches to the coaching profession.
One of the strongest benefits of this collaboration is that the coach can look at coaching sessions objectively.
Being able to do active listening on your coaching sessions without getting stuck on listening barriers, reading your client’s body language, using smart components actively, improving your powerful questioning skills and your ability to manage the process without going off the subject, using the same language with a more effective adaptation with the client as well as your client’s conscious departure from your coaching session with the feedback he/ she provides make you experience the qualification of your profession beyond measure and increases the number of clients who direct their lives with coaching.
Thus, the clients know that they can always come to rest in the shade of this tree with the belief that they can successfully move on with their path.
I am with you to share all my professional experience, knowledge, and skills of over 20 years with the coaches in my training and mentoring processes, the clients in my one-on-one coaching sessions, as well as everyone who believes in and decides on existing in a space of solidarity.
